After several weeks of praying and preparing, we're ready to resume in-person services. We're monitoring guidelines and best practices to create opportunities to meet safely. We understand that some of you are ready to come to church, while some are still navigating complicated factors for when and how to reengage. So we designed outdoor family services to allow you to choose your level of physical distancing.
You have three options to attend on Sundays through July 5:
We'll continue to gather online so you can stay home and worship with us at live.vineyardotr.org. Song lyrics and notes will be onscreen, and you can also request live prayer, read the Bible, and access the notes tab.
Come park in lot 2 (map) and tune your radio to 88.5 FM. You'll be able to stay in your car and still be physically present, wave at friends, and receive prayer ministry at a safe distance. Bring your phone or tablet to access votrweekly.org to follow along with song lyrics, sermon notes, announcements, and more.
3. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR
Find a place to sit in lot 1 (map). We'll use parking spaces to maintain physical distance, and you can claim a spot for your family and individuals you feel comfortable inviting. We recommend masks and ask that you respect the space of those around you. Please park in lot 3 so we can use lot 2 for the drive-in attendees. Bring your phone or tablet to access votrweekly.org to follow along with song lyrics, sermon notes, announcements, and more.
What about my kids?
Vineyard Kids Ministry is not available during our outdoor services. Instead, we're creating services to help families worship together whether you're at home, in your car, or seated in our parking lot. Services will be a few minutes shorter and will include a few moments designed especially with your kids in mind. If you're onsite, we'll have activities packets for them too.
What if it rains?
We love our Colorado sunshine but in the event of inclement weather, we'll ask those on-site to stay in their cars and tune in to 88.5 FM for a drive-in gathering. We'll open the first lot to cars instead of seating.
What about communion?
We will continue the "bring your own communion" method for receiving the elements together. If you would like to participate, please bring bread or crackers along with juice or water. We'll receive it together during our response time.
How can I receive prayer?
Online attendees can click the "Request Prayer" button for live one-on-one prayer. If you are in your car, just turn on your hazard lights and a member of the prayer team will approach your car. If you're seated in the first lot, raise your hand and a prayer team member will approach your space. The prayer team will be pre-screened for symptoms, wear masks, and maintain physical distancing.
What about bathrooms?
We encourage you to take care of business before attending, but just in case, we'll have bathrooms available in the Warehouse with signs directing the way if you're unsure.
Why are we meeting outside?
We feel that outdoor gatherings are our best option right now to help with airflow and extra space required for physical distancing. We're also continuing renovation projects inside the building and can't wait to welcome everyone into the refreshed worship space.
