Fair-Weather Faith

Do you have ‘fair-weather faith?’ Jesus taught us that in this life, storms will come. The differentiator isn’t the strength of the storm coming against us or even the frequency — but Jesus said that those who build their life with God by listening & following will experience great wisdom, like someone who has built their home on bedrock. Does your faith survive the storm or does it only show up with the skies are clear and the wind is calm? Listen in as Jeff continues our series by exploring a life of wisdom.

Peace & Power

It’s easy to forget our history with God - how He’s been faithful, compassionate, and even powerful in our past. Storms can have a way of making us forget, but Mark 4 reminds us of the power that Jesus has over chaos and how His power can grow our faith today. The Pit of Despair

Famous ‘pits’ include:‘The Pit’ from Parks & Rec where Andy Dwyer fell or the infamous “pit of despair” from Princess Bride. But in Psalm 40 we learn about the true pit of despair, a life knocked down and far from God. Thankfully, because of God’s great love He promises to rescue us from this pit of despair and consequently, one of our most natural responses is to Praise Him and Tell Others. Jeff continues our message by looking at how Psalm 40 is a great example of how we can share our faith with others.

The World is Waiting

What did the disciples do after the resurrection of Jesus? The scriptures have plenty of ‘next steps’ but one of the recurring themes was that they were supposed to ‘’Go & Tell The Others.” They were supposed to ‘witness’ to all they had seen & heard. If it was true for them, it must also be true for us. But witness to what? Witness how? And where? Jeff explores these questions in our opening sermon of the new series: “You Can’t Stay Here.”

Fear and Doubt

You don’t need to be a perfect disciple to be a disciple. In this message, Jeff looks at two more visitations and how Jesus decided to minister to followers filled with fear & doubt. If you’ve ever been afraid to speak up for your faith, if you’ve ever been timid about potential consequences, or if you’ve ever doubted God’s power, presence, or existence — this is the message for you.

Go and Tell

After Jesus rose from the dead, the scriptures teach us that for 40 days He met with His disciples, taught them about the Kingdom of God, and proved that He was alive (Acts 1). Listen in as Jeff starts our series with the first ‘post-resurrection’ visitation. What can we learn from Jesus’ interaction with Mary and how does it impact our lives today?
