The World is Waiting

What did the disciples do after the resurrection of Jesus? The scriptures have plenty of ‘next steps’ but one of the recurring themes was that they were supposed to ‘’Go & Tell The Others.” They were supposed to ‘witness’ to all they had seen & heard. If it was true for them, it must also be true for us. But witness to what? Witness how? And where? Jeff explores these questions in our opening sermon of the new series: “You Can’t Stay Here.”

Trust, Hope, and Purpose

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ changes everything. For the early church this was the Good News: through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus we can find hope for the future and purpose for today. Join us as we celebrate Easter at the Vineyard — embracing the eternal promise of Christ and His Kingdom in our everyday lives.

The Dying Words of Christ

Jesus spoke seven times while dying on the cross and in our closing sermon for this series Jeff reads and explores each phrase. How did Jesus spend His last moments? What did our Savior say? What continued to be on His heart? May we hear the ‘dying words of Christ,’ and may we respond with awe, worship, and love.

Friends of the Cross

During the crucifixion, most people deserted and abandoned Jesus — but a few remained at His side. In the dying moments of Jesus, He addressed a few individuals or ‘friends of the cross’ and by examining these interactions, we can learn a lot about our Savior and what it means to follow Him today.

The Cross Foretold

How do we make sense of the old sacrificial system in light of Christ Crucified? Jeff digs into one of the most important days in ancient Israel’s history “The Day of Atonement” to explain the significance and power of the cross. Listen in as we discuss how our sins are not only covered and forgiven, but completely removed from our life as we are a new creation in Christ.

The Foolishness of the Cross

‘I decided to forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified.’ These words from Paul serve as our inspiration for the next five weeks during this sermon series and we invite you to listen to the opening message retelling the story, power, and ‘foolishness’ of Christ Crucified. May we never forget it’s through Christ, and Christ alone, that we are saved.

Addiction

Join us for a unique service at the Vineyard. In this message, Jeff shares his own history with addiction, how Jesus came with love, mercy, and freedom for those addicted, and we have a special element during the service where the leader of Celebrate Recovery (Brian Villers) leads our church in a typical Recovery meeting.

Shame

Jeff & Natalie co-preach the next message in this series and it’s all about shame. Just like anxiety, we’re promised freedom in scripture but there is a gap between the biblical promises and our everyday life. For most of us, shame is a recurring battle and in this message we’ll learn how to stand with Christ, fight against shame, and embrace the promises of a life with God.

Anxiety

Life is a Rodeo: it’s thrilling and adventurous but also filled with struggle and pain. Jeff begins our new series by discussing a topic that impacts us all: anxiety! How does the Bible talk about anxiety? What kind of promises do we find in our relationship with Jesus when it comes to peace and freedom? And when it comes to my life today: How can I partner with God to experience relief? Join us as we tackle the universal and growing problem of anxiety.
