A life of faith that’s passed down impacts generations to come. Timothy’s Grandmother Lois and mother Eunice passed down their faith to him and they couldn’t have ever imagine the impact he would make for the kingdom of God. How can you position yourself to pass down your faith and live a life of faith that’s not just for yourself?

Our 4 letter word for this week is ‘rest.’ We love the idea of rest as a culture but it often times makes us feel weak or inadequate when we take time to rest. Natalie will be looking at Jesus invitation for us to rest in Him and will be sharing practical tools for us to lean into the rest Jesus has promised for us.

Jesus had compassion for the multitudes and knew how to respond. Natalie unpacks the scriptures in John 6 where Jesus feeds the 5,000, teaching us about His beautiful provision. There are plenty of ways in our human nature that we can come up lots of different ideas on how to feed the hungry, but when we place our trust, our small ideas, our simple gifts, our plans to him… He already knows what to do and multiplies it! This is what Convoy of Hope does when we partner with them and give one day’s wage away.

Jesus talks about money all the time! Turns out there’s a good reason for this. Money can make us anxious, it can tie us down, it can even be consuming and distract us from Him. Natalie shares her own personal stories about anxiety around money and looks at an important teaching from Jesus that points us to him and away from our own fears, worries, and anxieties around money.

Romans 8:15-19 tell us that we no longer have a spirit of fear when we put our faith in Jesus. We are children of God and heirs to His throne sharing in His glory for eternity. Natalie talks about how our life with Jesus impacts how we respond to fear. You no longer have to fear what is to come when you put your faith in Jesus.

The world around us longs for real spiritual experiences. Pentecost Sunday celebrates the outpouring of God’s experienced presence as recorded in the book of Acts. Contrary to popular belief, the story of the Bible is mostly not about getting to Heaven, it’s the reality of Heaven getting into us. Life with God makes all things right.

Your marriage can be a ‘Sign & Wonder’ to the world around you. In Ephesians 5, we learn that marriage mysteriously points to the love Christ has for the church and when done well, marriage can be part of your ministry.
