This week we get the pleasure of hearing from Christina Lowery, the Associate National Director of Church Health and Development for Vineyard USA. Tune is as she closes out our series, Spiritual Puberty, by talking about our call to be disciples who make disciples.
Our spiritual journey includes ups and downs, highs and lows, mountaintops and valleys. It’d be nice if we could skip the struggle and suffering and live in perfect blessing, but life often has more complexities than we realize. We can see the bigger picture by placing our hope in Jesus Christ and learning to walk with God through hardships. The truth is: there are parts of our spiritual maturity that are only developed in the midst of pain. Listen in as we continue our series on ‘Spiritual Puberty.’
God cares deeply about our souls and we can find transformation that lasts through the power, presence, and example of Jesus Christ. As a church, we are invited to join God’s mission of transforming ALL things, even our own souls. Natalie will walk us through how we can find healing with the Lord in the deepest part of our being and our hope for our church to be a place where people can come with all their anxieties, stressors, and fears and leave filled with the peace of Lord.
‘Spiritual Community’ remains one of the most important ingredients to a healthy and maturing life in the Lord. For centuries, Christians have gathered together to worship, pray, hear Biblical teachings, and support one another. But in today’s world, distractions seem omnipresent. Listen in as we discuss the beauty of a spiritual community and the potential risk when we avoid gathering together.
Do you remember puberty? It was awkward, isolating, and… smelly. As Jeff starts this new series, we’re looking at the journey from spiritual childhood to maturity and the inevitable changes we all go through. We all need to go through spiritual puberty on our way towards maturity and there are some key things to keep in mind on the way. Listen in as we kick off this new series on spiritual growth & formation.
As we kick off a new series, Jeff looks at some potential entanglements when it comes to money and our spiritual maturity. Jesus seemed to talk about money often and in this passage, we see that generosity is not only a journey but it’s directly tied to our spiritual maturity. Listen in as we once again commit ourselves to love God above all other things.
Jeff talks about how society focuses so much on success that it becomes our identity, but that's not what Jesus wants for us. No matter where we are in our journey, God values fruit, even the baby fruit that we tend to dismiss.
